This week I joined two additional Atlanta area photography groups! The first is the "Atlanta Photographic Society", the meet twice a month on Thursdays.  The second is "Southeastern Photographic Society", meeting twice a month on Fridays. I joined these groups to enable me to receive additional feedback on my images.

I 've been a member of the Roswell Photographic Society since I became serious about the art (2002) and enjoy the group. However they don't have the proper facilities to deal with their popularity and due to (lack of) capacity have changed their critique policy for 2009 to allow one photograph to be shown per month per photographer.

I also am active in the "Atlanta Photography Group". Of the four groups, I think, they best address the "art" in "fine-art photography" and have a lovely facility in the Tula Art Center. Currently though, their ability to actively host discussion of works-in-progress is slightly in doubt
