While driving north out of Atlanta on 85 I couldn't believe my eyes. There was a giant arm rising up out and above the trees to the west.  I exited at the next exit, but it was now out of site. I drove around a little but couldn't find it.  When I got home I did a bing search on Atlanta Hand and found that it was a sculpture that had been created for a religious gathering. It was composed out of many materials many of which are created by slave labour. The sculpture was raising visibility to the still rampant slavery in the world and America's willingness to profit from it.

A few days later I went to the parking lot it was currently installed an and spent a couple of hours taking pictures.  I like my version, though I don't like my making art that is in a large part just a copy of someone else's art.  I'm not sure yet how I'll deal with that problem.
