Deleting Images

I’ve been lax. I take many more pictures than I would ever want to show you.  Let’s say 10,000 per year, plus or minus.

I was looking at my LightRoom catalog:

• 2001 – 56
• 2002 – 612
• 2003 – 2388
• 2004 – 2128
• 2005 – 2067
• 2006 – 62
• 2007 – 5348
• 2008 – 5176
• 2009 – 217

What’s with 2006? I need to do some serious importing from that years archive. But look at the other years (I’ll wait…),  No way I should keep 5000 or even 2000 images a year.

My plan is to first, working back through the years, flag, rank and the delete, so that I’m saving closer to 1,000 images.  Can I do it?
