Shadow of Summer 2002

This is my first generally successful "art" image.  My wife, grandson, and I drove south-west of Atlanta to visit Callaway Gardens.  Their lakes, gardens, raptor show, kept us busy for the day.  The gardens has a very nice butterfly house.  We arrived there mid afternoon.  I spent a great deal of time shooting butterflies, but the light was harsh.  On our way to the exit we passed under these tropical plants with holes in the leafs.  With the light shining overhead through the leafs, I took this nice little picture.
