I found an old cemetery while stopping in Savannah, GA on my way to Ossabaw island. I understand it to be the same one the cover photograph of the book "Midnight in the garden of good and Evil" was taken in.  I saw, what I thought at first to be a mirror ball.  It turned out to be a palm of some sort, pruned in preparation for the winter.  It was a ball of immature leafs surrounding pink ovals.  They were probably seeds.
